• ISO 기본 미디어 파일 형식 및 MPEG-2 전송 스트림에 대한 정의 된 지원. 실제적으로 이는 H264 및 AAC와 동일합니다.

• DASH 콘텐츠는 미디어 프레젠테이션 설명 및 관련 콘텐츠 세그먼트로 구성됩니다. 

• XML 스키마를 사용합니다.

• Apple의 HTTP Live Streaming (HLS)과 유사하게 DASH에는보다 포괄적 인 기능 세트가 포함되어 있습니다.

• Dynamic Adaptive Streaming over HTTP
